Recovery from substance use doesn’t always require intensive care—but it does require consistency, support, and the right tools.

For adults who are ready to take the next step in their healing journey while continuing to manage work, family, and other responsibilities, the Adult Outpatient Program at Pawnee Nation Behavioral Health offers the structure and support needed for sustainable recovery.

What Is Adult Outpatient Treatment?

Our Adult Outpatient Program provides evidence-based care in a flexible format that fits into your daily life. While less intensive than our IOP program, outpatient treatment still offers a powerful combination of services, including individual and group therapy, relapse prevention education, and skill-building to support long-term sobriety.

This program is ideal for individuals who need ongoing care but don’t require multiple therapy sessions each week. With a personalized treatment plan in place, each participant receives support tailored to their unique goals, needs, and life circumstances.

What to Expect in Outpatient Treatment

Your journey starts with a personalized assessment to help us understand your needs and build a treatment plan that works for you. From there, you’ll participate in weekly therapy sessions designed to strengthen your recovery, prevent relapse, and help you build healthy coping mechanisms.

If you are managing both substance use and a mental health condition, we offer integrated services—including medication-assisted treatment and therapy—to support your overall well-being. Throughout your time in the program, you’ll be supported by a team of professionals and peer recovery specialists who are committed to your success.
